Get Paid to Write
April 8th 2006 04:42
As Poems.net.au is part of the Orble network it is easy to get paid for any articles you publish, all you need is a Google AdSense account.
More information can be found here.
Before submitting an article I would strongly recommend you read Orble's Blogging Tips and the Guide to making money as an Orble writer.
Besides the money (which unless you write many good articles probably won't be huge) there are other good reasons for contributing to Poems.net.au.
First of all it's lots of fun and you'll meet many like minded people and this is probably why most people write for Poems.net.au. However it can also provide great exposure and can be invaluable if you want to work in the industry. Quite a number of Orble writers have landed mainstream jobs through their articles on an Orble website.
If you are already working in the industry it can help promote your business. You are free to advertise your business or website in your writer's signature as long as it is a simple link and the body of the post contains genuine content, not merely an advert.
To submit an article click here. Please read the Posting Guidelines first to get an idea of the kind of articles accepted.
Submissions from new authors will be vetted before publication, however after 3 of your posts have been approved you will be invited to become a member and will be able to publish without vetting.
Please post any questions below.
Regards,
Poems.net.au

Even when you sat there and kissed another girl...
Even when you ran me over with your skatebord then ditched me...
Even when you walked away, turned around, gave me the finger and sed f***k you...
Even when your friends said "he's not going to stick around" i said "ill take the chance"
<3 BECAUSE I LOVE YOU<3

Thoughts streaming throughout my head reflected.
Passing in and out of life termoil;
Watching my dreams begin to spoil.
I'm a tigar beast learking in the night;
Charging all struggles with a blood fit fight.
This is the day to say;
Things must change in any means or way.
Work to conqour every pushing stone;
Even the scary, wicked and unknown.
Dreaming for just one moment near;
seams to make all troubles dissapear.
The sky beams out over all the land;
but where we shine light, darkness must stand.
Night sinks down bellowing into every soul;
Unleashing hearts deepest hole.

She is a beautiful lady and renown,
Wearing her usual exquisite blue gown,
With a touch of aqua and light veil of grey,
Depending on the mood of the day.
Flirtatiously playing on her waltz,
And of men, she allures and exalts.
They find her irresistible and swear only by her,
Changing their life to be called: sailor.
She whispered a life of adventure,
That, their love would be pure,
Endeavour with their conquest of treasure,
Men’s greedy heart assures her future.
With the murky past, has she been tamed?
The centuries prove us that she is to be blamed.
She has shown to be belligerent,
Revealed her possessiveness and being violent,
Wrecking ships as she was infuriated.
Her hideousness versus beauty has been long debated.
She has offered humanoid her creatures
And even some of her treasures.
For her defense she would say “I’m only the sea”.
