Fleas
By Strickland GillilanAdam
Had’em.
A new 12 inch remix of the world’s shortest poem by Dexter
Fleas
Adam,
Had’em
They itched,
He scratched em.
Came out in a rash,
He cursed them.
They bit,
He smashed em.
They multiplied,
He sprayed em.
In the carpet,
He vacuumed em.
Took a walk,
He transported em.
Drove his car,
He nearly crashed em
Played chess,
He lost to em.
Flew in a plane,
He exported em.
Watched a movie,
He entertained em.
Started a circus,
He trained em.
Complained to Eve,
She couldn’t see em.
Under a microscope,
He spied em.
Studied and documented,
He refined em.
With tweezers,
He tortured em.
Aimed his shotgun,
Missed’ em.
Into dog’s fur,
They spread em.
Had a bath,
He drowned em.
Put powder on,
He annihilated em.
Fleas,
Adam didn’t have em anymore.
